In this undated photo released by USC Annenberg showing Edwin O. Guthman, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Robert Kennedy's former press secretary. Guthman, who was on the infamous 'enemies list' prepared by aides of President Richard Nixon, has died. He was 89. Signed in person at Rosa's Italian Restaurant in Ontario, Ca. Around 1999 or 2000, I don't remeber the exact date. He was there with his wife and his race team as he usually is or was every year when the races came to the California Speedway in Fontana, CA.

We had an interesting case, recently, on eBay involving allegedly genuine "vintage" photographs of Gloria Swanson. The seller even displayed verso shots with photographer credits. THEY HAD TO BE THE REAL DEAL. What a steal to get a Clarence Sinclair Bull copyright photograph of Swanson at her most glamorous. Right? WRONG!What came in the mail were crude color copies, on glossy stock, from some low grade copier machine. When challenged, the seller professed innocence that "I don't know all the right terminology or the difference between vintage and otherwise. It was a simple mistake.

" Actually, this innocent seller on eBay pulled the same trick on several other people. It took us forever through eBay and PayPal to get a refund.

Again, sincere thanks for the articles and continued success with your business. You are a credit to the industry, Trish.
